Worries over increased geopolitical concerns ahead of the weekend and good news from the EPA on biofuels allowed the markets to have a solid Friday performance.
At the end of the session, July corn was up 6, with the December board 2 higher. July beans were 28 higher at the end of the day, with the November board up 28 as well. An escalation between Iran and Israel prompted some short covering in wheat, sending it 18 higher in both Chicago and Kansas City contracts, with the Minneapolis market up 14 at the end of the day.
