Corn and soybeans managed to recover into the weekend on the back of dryer Argentina forecasts and continued decent corn demand. Wheat tried but could not generate much buying interest as Southern Hemisphere harvest supplies continue to move into the pipeline and physical demand is relatively limited into the middle of January.

At the end of the day corn was 5 higher, with beans up 11. For the week, corn was able to add 4 cents, while beans finished 14 lower but 30 cents off their midweek low. Chicago wheat finished its session flat and the week 19 lower, while Kansas City wheat ended its session 2 higher, with Minneapolis up 3.
